Hi there!

I’m Viva Anne Tiernan, your dedicated psychotherapist with certification.

I am passionate about guiding individuals, families, couples, young adults and teenagers to overcome life’s challenges and discover their path to an amazing life.  I have learned that I have a genuine talent for guiding people in their transformative journey.

I deeply value the trust people place in me when someone chooses to share their story with me. I believe that every person’s story deserves to be treated with utmost respect and kindness. This is a value that I hold close to my heart.

My journey

Throughout the last thirty years, I’ve supported individuals, families, and couples during their toughest moments, offering them insight and encouragement to lead genuine lives and nurture deep connections with their loved ones.

My passion for helping people overcome challenges began during my teenage years and has been a driving force throughout my career, extending into my personal life.

For 12 years, I operated a “Halfway House,” where I welcomed individuals facing critical crossroads in their lives. I guided them in discovering their desired path and provided unwavering support, helping them regain their strength to pursue their dreams and aspirations.

Like many, I’ve encountered my share of life’s challenges and distressing moments. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the value of embracing my emotional life. While it can be daunting, it’s also profoundly life-affirming, and I always find a sense of relief afterward. My goal and commitment are to offer my clients that same sense of relief through our conversations.

I’m devoted to my own ongoing growth, both professionally and personally. I attend self-psychotherapy on an ongoing basis, and I also receive supervision. I prioritize my own professional and personal development, as well as knowledge of methods and theory. This commitment ensures I remain well-versed, up to date and grounded in providing my clients with top-quality psychotherapy and personalized courses.

There’s nothing that brings me more happiness than when all six of us are together, simply spending time, chatting, and appreciating each other’s company.

Our home is often bustling with friends, family, young people, and children, and we find great joy in having them around us.
